Innovative XL Premium Range<\/h2>\n

The innovative XL Premium Range has been designed, developed and manufactured in Sheffield England to the highest of industry standards using a high quality Premium 1.25% Carbon Steel, which is utilised more commonly in the production of surgical blades.<\/p>\n

      How TiN coating is applied to our XL Premium Gold blades?<\/strong><\/p>\n

      The Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating is applied by Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD). Our blades are jigged in a chamber for coating and it is applied through a process of electron beam evaporation under vacuum at a work piece temperature of below 500\u00b0C. The ceramic coating is a bright gold metallic colour in appearance and the thickness is geometry dependant at 1-4microns.<\/p>\n
